Dimensional Environmental Installation | Wheelhouse
Designed and managed the production of a multi-layered wood relief map for Wheelhouse, a co-living development in Baltimore’s Federal Hill. I translated the initial concept into a 1:1 scale SketchUp model to dictate precise measurements and depth for fabrication. I provided comprehensive technical drawings and color specifications for the fabricators (Goodwood Design) and worked closely with local artisans (Greg Gannon).
Environmental Mural Design | The Stacks
Designed the signature garage lobby mural for The Stacks, a premier multi-use development in DC’s Buzzard Point district. I spearheaded the visual narrative by moving from initial hand-sketches to a fully realized digital illustration that captures the architectural energy of the neighborhood.
Lobby Mural & Historical Signage | 40TEN
Designed the signature lobby mural for 40TEN, Baltimore’s first modern mass timber office building. My process included the initial conceptual layout and coordination for the hand-painted execution. Additionally, I designed a system of dimensional signs to provide historical context for the neighborhood map, managing the production files and material specifications for the installation.
Environmental Graphics & Dimensional Signage
The United Association
Designed a full-coverage adhesive vinyl graphic for the United Association (UA) IT department in Annapolis, MD. The illustration features a visual mix of schematic pipework and circuit board motifs. I managed the layout for the continuous wall wrap, accounting for door openings and architectural breaks. I independently managed the entire fabrication process, coordinating directly with the sign company to ensure the dimensional signage was correctly produced and mounted over the finished vinyl.
Exterior Mural & Branded Landmark | Altus
Designed and managed the production of a 26-foot exterior brick mural for Altus, a student housing development in Towson, MD. My role included full layout design, scaling, and precise material specification (Sherwin Williams) for the painter (Greg Gannon). The mural's bold visual style integrates the building’s branding directly into the architectural facade.
Integrated Project Spotlight: Vertical Blade Sign
In addition to the mural, I managed the creative development for the project's custom vertical blade sign. I handled the entire design process for this unique structural landmark, ensuring it complemented the larger environmental graphics and functioned as a primary focal point for the building's exterior.
Altus was a full-scale environmental branding project, including a complete interior wayfinding and signage system. Additional documentation of the interior scope is currently being finalized. Coming soon.
